How to run your first beta test

Add your website or app as a project with a short description and a test login, choose what to test, and get bug reports with screenshots and recordings from your AI beta tester — in a few minutes.

Add your project

A project is the product you want beta tested: a website, SaaS web app, Android or iOS app, browser extension or tool. The more your tester knows about it, the better it tests.

  • Open "Projects" and click "New project".
  • Paste the link: your site, a Google Play or App Store link, a TestFlight link or a Chrome Web Store page.
  • Write a sentence or two on what it does and who it is for.
  • Add a test login. A full-access or upgraded test account lets your tester reach every feature.

Tip: Use a dedicated test account. Logins are saved in an encrypted vault and typed into the browser for you — the AI never sees the password.

Pick the tests

Tell your AI beta tester what to test in plain words, like you would brief a human beta tester. A few requests that work well:

  • Test my app like a brand-new user and report every bug.
  • Test signup and onboarding on a phone and on a laptop.
  • Go through checkout with a Stripe test card.
  • Try every form with empty, long and unusual inputs.
  • Check the whole site for broken links and console errors.
  • Review the landing page like a first-time visitor and suggest improvements.

Tip: It only tests products you own or are authorized to test, never makes real payments, and asks before anything irreversible.

Watch it test (optional)

Your tester works in its own real browser, or on a real or emulated phone for mobile apps. You can watch it live, see every step in Activity, or just wait for the report — it keeps working when your computer is off.

Read the bug reports

When the beta test is done you get a test report with a quality score, and one bug report per issue:

  • A clear title and a severity (high, medium, low).
  • Steps to reproduce, with expected vs actual result.
  • An annotated screenshot and a screen recording.
  • UX notes and feature ideas, ready to paste into Jira, Linear or GitHub.

Tip: Fixed something? Ask it to re-test the open bugs and it confirms each fix.

Get results in your chat app

Web chat works right away. Connect a channel to start tests and get bug reports where your team already talks: WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, Slack or email.

Schedule regression tests

Turn any beta test into automated beta testing: “every morning at 8, run a smoke test of login and checkout” or “after every deploy, run a full regression”. Your tester only pings you when something broke.
